Today, we made official our newest demand when SEIU Healthcare President Sharleen Stewart wrote a letter to Doug Ford and his government urging them to introduce a universal minimum wage of at least $35 per hour for registered practical nurses (RPNs).

SEIU Healthcare is aware that many of our Community Care and Home Care members continue to be impacted by O. Reg. 177/20: CONGREGATE CARE SETTINGS (prohibiting healthcare workers from working in multiple congregate care settings).

Healthcare workers deserve higher wages. ALL OF THEM! That’s because everyone is essential. This is our message to Premier Ford’s government. Please take 30 seconds to take action for healthcare workers across Ontario.
