We are excited to announce, that for the first time ever, you can join your fellow SEIU Healthcare nurses across the province virtually in our Nursing Division’s Educational Webinar Series throughout November and December of 2020. We will be covering a variety of topics that are essential to your nursing profession, which include:

  • Advocating in a Politic Environment
  • Asserting your Professional Responsibility and Utilizing Workload Review Forms
  • Gearing up for Bargaining – How SEIU Nurses can be the difference

In our recent Nursing Division Town Hall, where we discussed your nurses Scope of Practice and the lack of appreciation for RPNs are feeling. The Nursing Division presented our Take Action for RPNs Letter. In just a few days, over 2000 letters were sent to the Ford Government. Nurses let’s keep the momentum going, and show Ontario, your employers, and the government what happens when nurses are unified. Staying connected has never been more critical, especially when nurses are being asked to step up again and again through this a global pandemic, so we hope you are able to join this very important educational opportunity to prepare you to take a stand.

Each education webinar will have the same format and materials, but they will be facilitated by different Nursing Division Executive Board Representatives, SEIU nursing staff, along with your Nursing Division president Jackie Walker. Pick one or attend all six webinars!
