On Wednesday, June 10, 2020, SEIU Healthcare will be continuing our Appreciation Rallies in Windsor. It is because of the hard work and determination of all frontline healthcare workers that Ontario has been able to get through this crisis.
SEIU Healthcare’s Appreciation Rallies is making its way to Sarnia on Wednesday, June 10, 2020. Over the past few months, we have seen these rallies spread happiness and encouragement.
On Sunday, June 7, 2020, Kingston’s Appreciation Rally will be wrapping up our three-day rally weekend. Hundreds of people have participated in visiting several long-term care homes, nursing homes, and hospitals.
SEIU Healthcare is bringing our Appreciation Rallies to Ottawa! We will be hosting two different rally routes on Saturday, June 6, 2020, to support all frontline healthcare workers. We are looking forward to visiting all our members in Ottawa.

Since the Ontario government announced their Pandemic Pay at the end of April, we have been in constant discussions with them regarding positions that were excluded, including MDRD, hospital ward and unit clerks, clerical staff, and recreational staff/activity coordinators.
When we first started our Appreciation Rallies, Durham was the first area we visited. On May 28, we return to Pickering and Ajax to carry on our support.
