SEIU Healthcare President Tyler Downey has been appointed SEIU International Canadian Vice President. In this added role, he will bring the voice of Canadian members to the SEIU International Executive Board, representing over 2 million members.
This appointment is a powerful recognition of Tyler’s leadership, impact, and unwavering commitment. From building member power, leading bold fights for respect and fairness on the job, and driving innovative solutions to reshape our healthcare system, Tyler has shown what strong, worker-driven leadership looks like, and that leadership is now being recognized at the highest levels of our union.
