SEIU Healthcare members and their families braved cold, snowy weather to participate in Women Marches, which were held across the province on January 19, 2019. The resistance marches took place around the world and in more than 10 locations across Ontario.

Women have been mobilizing in these events since 2017 with the aim of harnessing the power of women of all diversity to create meaningful and lasting change.
This year, SEIU Healthcare sisters, in solidarity with the Ontario Federation of Labour, walked to stand up for any woman who is discriminated against for her race, religion, immigration status, sexual orientation, gender identity, or her appearance.
