On September 3, 2018, SEIU Healthcare members “purple stepped” for workers’ rights during various Labour Day parades and picnics in Ontario.
In Toronto, members paraded alongside a lively marching band, 35 rickshaws, and a memorable DJ atop an SEIU Healthcare-bannered float.
Members also celebrated in Barrie, the Niagara Region/St. Catharines, London, Thunder Bay, Brantford, Sarnia, Ottawa, Brockville, North Bay, Hamilton/Oakville, and Goderich.
We thank all our members, staff, and crew who helped make Labour Day a success in every region.
