This June, SEIU Healthcare is proud to celebrate Filipino Heritage Month for the first time in Toronto.
As a union that represents 60,000 frontline healthcare workers in Ontario, thousands of whom are Filipino, we understand and embrace the importance of recognizing their significant contributions to the city of Toronto, our province of Ontario, and the rest of our country.
Although we unite to celebrate this new occasion, there is still much work to be done to ensure that it will be recognised every June not only in Toronto, but across the province and all of Canada as well. At SEIU Healthcare, we will do everything in our power to help make this goal a reality.
