Join us for:
- Training to enhance your leadership skills
- Networking opportunities with your fellow leaders
- Specially designed courses to enhance your confidence and capacity, both inside and outside of the workplace
Since spaces are limited, there is an application process to attend our Summer Leadership Academy.
You must complete all questions in the application form to be eligible to attend. As a part of the application process, SEIU Healthcare will take into consideration the applicants’ Academy experiences and their member engagement participation already on file within SEIU Healthcare when filling the limited spaces. We will prioritize equity and inclusivity by selecting members that represent the diversity of our union. Also, we highly encourage new stewards and chief stewards to apply.
LOAs, accommodations, and meals will be provided to members who are selected to attend the Academy. Please note that roommates will be selected at random and that roommate requests will not be accommodated.
All applications must be received by June 21. All applicants will be contacted by email about the selection in mid-July.
